One of the most challenging aspects of modern conservation is the removal of pressure sensitive tape.
First the plastic carrier is removed, then the adhesive itself.
I repair loved heirloom books - including Bibles, cookbooks, and vintage children's books.
I also provide conservation treatment services for museums and special collections/archives, including appropriate written and photo documentation.
Please reach out with any questions you have. I love chatting about book and paper treasures!
